Acupuncture

Are you interested in a treatment for your pet that is scientifically proven to:

  • Reduce Stress and Anxiety
  • Decrease Pain and Inflammation
  • Restore Neurologic Ability
  • Increase Intestinal Motility
  • Boost Immunity
  • Improve Urinary Function
  • And Much More....... Then you should consider........ ACUPUNCTURE!

Outpatient sessions for current VVH patients typically last about 40 minutes and include a thorough myofascial exam, massage and acupuncture treatment. You can be with your furry friend during treatment or drop them off if that is more convenient.

Frequency of treatments depends on the specific illness / problem and on your pet's response to treatment. Treatments may be as often as 3 times a week for an acute injury or once every 6 weeks for maintaining quality of life.

Acupuncture can also be added to conventional treatments for hospitalized patients suffering from gastrointestinal disease, pancreatitis, urinary issues or other problems.

Patients undergoing minor surgical procedures or dental cleanings can also benefit from acupuncture treatments that decrease pain and restore intestinal function after anesthesia.

For major orthopedic or abdominal surgeries, we offer a package of treatments designed to treat pain and restore function. The package includes immediate post-op care and 3 out-patient treatments.
