Dr. Short has been an loyal VVH employee since July 1997. After receiving her DVM from Virginia Tech in May 2007 she completed a one year internship in Emergency and Internal Medicine in Virginia Beach. She then came back to our hospital July 2008 and we are so very lucky to have her as a part of our team! Her special interests are Dermatology and Endocrinology.

She shares her home with her most beloved cat "Moose", a Shetland Sheepdog "Juliet", and a German Shepherd Mix named "Akiva".

During any free time she may have she enjoys reading, writing, crafts and tap dancing which she began in 2005.
